Thoughts on INFJ Traits
Recently, I remembered some characteristics of INFJ that were compiled on a forum. There are several traits that have raised questions and ideas in me.
Trait 1: Having a language learning talent. Some say INFJs are good at learning foreign languages, and there's even a claim that they can pick up the local accent in a new place within a month or even a week. Is this true for all INFJs?
Trait 2: Having high talent in either art or music and being moderately good in the other. Does every INFJ possess this trait?
Trait 3: Being good at writing. INFJs are often referred to as the 'writer personality type'.
Trait 4: Having a certain degree of homosexual tendencies. This needs to be distinguished from being strictly homosexual. It refers to being able to have same-sex in sexual fantasies or being open to being with same-sex individuals without being exclusively attracted to the same sex.
I'm not entirely sure if these traits are universally true for all INFJs. Some people claim to fit all these traits, while others only fit some. For example, some are heterosexual but have traits 1 to 3. Some are not good at a particular trait but still identify as INFJ. It's quite a complex mix.
Many INFJs seem to have an affinity for art and psychology. This is an interesting observation. Overall, it's hard to say if these traits are definitive of the INFJ personality type.
