The Fears of INFJ Personalities

An exploration of the fears that INFJ individuals face and how they can cope with them.

Title: The Fears of the 'Old Green' - Understanding the INFJ Personality

The 'Old Green', often referred to as INFJ individuals, have their own set of fears that distinguish them from others. One of the main sources of fear for them is instability and loss of recognition.

In social situations, they worry about being ignored. For example, in a restaurant, they fear that their queue number might be forgotten by the staff. During a meeting when the host asks everyone to speak in turn, they are concerned about being overlooked. In these scenarios, they feel like they become invisible, which makes them question if it's their fault that led to this situation.

Instability shows up in their resistance to change. A sudden small test at school or rumors of optimization at work can make them uncomfortable. They might even reflect on past events and wonder if they will be affected. Unlike others, the fear of INFJs mainly lies in self-doubt. Once something happens, they can't forget it easily and it keeps popping up in their minds until the matter is completely over.

To deal with these fears, aside from improving themselves, building confidence, and enhancing their sense of security, it is suggested that INFJs find a partner who provides a strong sense of security. When they have someone to rely on, these events won't seem as terrifying as before.
