I. What is the MBTI test? The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is developed from Jung's personality classification theory and formulated by an American mother and daughter psychologist. It is divided into 4 dimensions, and each dimension has 2 types of tendencies. Each type tendency is represented by a letter. In each dimension, a person's tendency is not necessarily black or white, but only closer to which tendency.
II. Types of MBTI test MBTI theory believes that individuals can analyze their personalities through four dimensions: the direction of individual energy flow - extraversion (Extraversion, E) and introversion (Introversion, I) preferences; the perception mode of individual information acquisition - sensing (Sensing, S) and intuition (Intuition, N) preferences; the decision-making mode preference of individual information processing - thinking (Thinking, T) and emotion (Feeling, F); the choice of contact mode with the surrounding world - judgment (Judging, J) and perception (Perceiving, P) preferences. The above four dimensions can be combined into 16 personality types.
