ENFJ's Career Choices and Interests

插图

'An exploration of ENFJ's career paths, suitable jobs and majors based on personality traits.'

ENFJ's Career Paths, Suitable Jobs and Majors Like INFJ, ENFJ individuals are adept at interacting with people and enjoy helping others reach their potential. They often take on jobs such as teachers, pastors, counselors, etc. These occupations enable them to improve and enhance the lives of others. ENFJ is also one of the more creative personality types and can pursue many creative career options. Compared to ENFP career seekers, ENFJ is generally less inclined to job hop and continuous experimentation. They also tend to be less plagued by indecision than ENFP people. Because their dominant function is extroverted feeling (Fe), ENFJ often enjoys extensive communication with people at work. However, as Fe is a judging function, they are purposeful and directed and have strong determination about what they want to accomplish. Yet no matter how ambitious they are, ENFJ finds it difficult to determine the appropriate college major or career path. This may be partly due to the structure of the modern work world being more centered around practical, technical and administrative (TJ) rather than social or interpersonal (FJ). For ENFJ's Holland Code职业 interests, most ENFJ will have a code consisting of S, A and E, and possibly I. Realistic careers are usually avoided by most ENFJ unless driven by their weaker functions. Investigative careers are more likely to attract ENFJ majoring in social sciences or being drawn to philosophy, religious or investigative journalism. Some may be attracted to medicine but modern medicine seems more suitable for TJ types. ENFJ often has strong artistic interests. They may be attracted to various artistic occupations. Social careers are highly recommended for ENFJ. They often enjoy jobs like teaching, preaching, counseling and psychology. Enterprising careers involve promoting products, ideas or services. While ENFJ can do well in sales and marketing, they may find limited satisfaction. They are strong public speakers and perform well in politics or public relations. Traditional careers involve administrative work. Although ENFJ may be capable in traditional occupations, they are usually not the first choice.
