The Growth Path of INTJs
Insights into the growth pattern of INTJs from different stages of life.
I've noticed a pattern regarding the growth path of INTJs. When looking at things, it goes from 'what' to 'why' to 'how'. The focus of thinking (meaning independent thinking and multi-dimensional exploration) is indeed getting deeper step by step. For example, when I was young, I liked to summarize some commonalities of people. I often defined things like 'people nowadays extremely believe in astrological personality analyses regardless of whether they are reliable or not/people who like a certain singer are very narcissistic'. Or when I saw questions like 'What are your unique skills for understanding people?' on Zhihu, I would seriously match people around me and remember the content that I thought was reliable. As I grew up, I would think deeper. When seeing some common phenomena, I would think about why this is the case. And when facing some popular science posts, I would habitually hold a skeptical and truth-seeking attitude and go to CNKI or other places to look for relevant research. Currently, I am slowly combining theory with practice. I should not have reached this stage yet. I hope mature INTJs can share their experiences. It seems that not everyone is like this. Many people around me just believe whatever the mass media and so-called authorities say without ever thinking about whether it's true or why. They always live with an 'of course' attitude.
