Documenting My INTJ Growth Journey

插图

A reflection on the INTJ personality type and personal growth.

Can't help but document my INTJ growth journey. As a child, my dissatisfaction stemmed from the fact that adults were often unreasonable. Despite their lack of rationality and logic, they held power simply because they were adults and I was a child. I realized that the world didn't operate solely on reason and logic. As I grew up and being a woman, I exhibited 'masculine traits' (loving detective novels, enjoying reasoning, and majoring in philosophy). This led to a strong incomprehension of gender stereotypes. Recognizing and accepting the injustices, power relations, and irrationalities in society is painful for an INTJ. However, the strength of an INTJ lies in being able to design their own system and make their own plans. They can ensure their own progress regardless of the external environment. The most painful time may be the senior year of high school when there is no independent control over one's time. The most disliked type of person may be those who are both patronizing and stupid as they undermine the independence of an INTJ. In fact, I also oppose the deification of INTJs. Objectively, being able to recognize and understand one's own personality traits and improve oneself accordingly is also a characteristic of an INTJ.
