Compatibility at Its Best: ISFJ and ESTJ
It's been a while since I got married. Looking back, I've realized that the combination of ISFJ and ESTJ is truly amazing. After four years of marriage, I can firmly say that the pairing of an I female and an E male is incredibly compatible.
A few days ago, I picked up a book titled 'MBTI: Potential Development and Human Strategy' and took the MBTI test for both myself and my husband. To my surprise, I am an ISFJ, which stands for Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, Judging. I'm often referred to as the Minister of Harmony. My husband, on the other hand, is an ESTJ, which means Extraverted, Sensing, Thinking, Judging. He's known as the Minister of Planning.
In our household, it's a classic case of the man taking care of the outside world while the woman manages the home. My husband is out there making a living, and I take great care of our little family. It may seem traditional, but it's extremely comfortable.
For instance, when I casually mention going out on the weekend, my husband immediately starts making plans. He figures out when to leave, where to go, how to get there, what to eat, what to wear, and where to stay. In no time, he presents me with a detailed plan. Yes, you read that right, a full-fledged plan! Living with my husband gives me a great sense of security. I don't have to worry about anything as he takes care of all the details. All I need to do is look beautiful. 😊
However, we do have our occasional arguments over small things. For example, sometimes I'll suddenly ask him, 'Do you love me?' He'll keep asking, 'What's wrong? What's wrong?' but he just won't say 'love.' This can be really frustrating. 😒
After taking the test, we realized that the little bumps in our life are caused by our personalities. Now we are more at ease with it. Moreover, we think that having some minor conflicts is actually a good thing. It makes our daily life more interesting.
If you're interested in taking the MBTI test too, you can buy this book or try the website provided by the author: www.stefaniestahl.de. Truly, I recommend that I females should find an E male. It's simply wonderful.
