Are INFJ Personalities Highly Sensitive?
An exploration of whether INFJ personalities are highly sensitive and the challenges they face in finding balance and passion.
Are INFJ Personalities Part of the Highly Sensitive Crowd?
As of 2020-10-13 15:35:29, there was a question raised: Do INFJ individuals consider themselves part of the highly sensitive group?
Sensitivity is indeed one of the characteristics of INFJ people. However, compared to ordinary sensitivity, highly sensitive individuals have stronger empathy. They are more perceptive and more easily influenced by others. They think more and find it extremely difficult to control internal conflicts. They also have higher requirements for surrounding things or the environment. They can clearly sense what they don't like, but it's very hard for them to find what they like. As a result, they can easily lose interest in everything. (These are just personal feelings and speculative references.)
The poster has been trying to restrain their highly sensitive characteristics and Fe. After a long period of depression and a sense of meaninglessness day and night, they are still in the process of developing other external dimensions (Ne, Te, Se), but they are completely at a loss and don't know how to adjust to find the right balance and develop the appropriate passion for certain things (hobbies).
Enthusiasm and interest in things are truly the only forces that can drive the poster at present. But currently, they are just an emotionless experimental machine. (Bitterness)
Or is it only possible to improve cognitive abilities first?
Some people have also commented that they are highly sensitive and that their skin is also sensitive.
In conclusion, being an INFJ and highly sensitive person comes with its own set of challenges. Finding a balance between these characteristics and developing a passion for life can be a difficult journey. Whether it's through improving cognitive abilities or finding other ways, it's a quest that many INFJ individuals face.
